Rotary Club On-the-Go app for iPhone and iPad

Calling all Rotarians! If you’re planning on traveling anytime in the next, well, ever, you’ll need to locate nearby meetings to attend as make-ups. While there are clubs in every nook and corner of the US, finding out where and when they meet can be a major hassle. Not anymore. With Rotary Club On-the-Go, you’ve got the locations and weekly meeting details of almost 8,000 clubs across the country in the palm of your hand. Just enter your current location or destination, and –voilà!– watch as the interactive map displays all nearby Rotary meetings.

Worried about not being able to find a place to get work done while youre on the road and away from the office? Fret no more, Rotarians, because Rotary Club On-the-Go will show you the way to the nearest Starbucks. Whether you’re jonesing for a cup of joe, in need of a free Wi-Fi hookup, or looking for a place to meet with colleagues and fellow club members, the map can display all nearby Starbucks locations wherever you are.

UPDATE: In the spirit of building goodwill, we’ve decided to donate 20% of Rotary Club On-the-Go’s net proceeds to PolioPlus, a charity supported by both Rotary International and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

The Rotary Club On-the-Go database is constantly improving thanks to you. Users are encouraged to add new meeting locations and details directly from their iPhone, iPod, or iPad. Hit the “Add” button at the bottom of the screen to add a new location, then follow the directions; your submission will be reviewed for accuracy and added within 48 hours. If the meeting already exists on the map, select the “Update or Correct Information” option on its info page to modify it. You can also add to the map or modify existing locations by going to www.mapmuse.com.
